"They should assume privilege, not merit, at each juncture" is a powerful statement.
So many BIPOC struggle with being both under-represented in corporate leadership and when they do get promoted, questioning if they are being tokenized.
I agree that change will require individual reflection by white employees - I beleive organizations have a responsibiity to facilitate the environment where that reflection is possible. But, to your point, whether of not they will do that is yet to be seen.
